Ning Ning has definitely enjoyed her time at the EMFun class in Expression Music. Both Kin Hui and I are able to see the progress she has made through these few months. She is able to tell a double bass from a cello, a viola, harpsichord, what is woodwing/string/brass instruments etc. She is able to recognise notes, tunes and rhythm - all of which are alien to both Kin Hui and myself. Most importantly, she had fun and always looked forward to class - never once did we have to coax her to go to class. Once we did a rushed trip back from Miri on Saturday afternoon, she was evidently so tired, but still she insisted that she goes for her music class. All this is thanks to teacher Jose (she enjoys him playing the saxophone), Melanie and yourself.

"Since July, this year, I started having voice lessons at Expression Music School. As I had some previous music experience, I was able to learn a lot within a few months. I was also given the opportunity to participate in the school's year end recital, which I thoroughly enjoyed. From the recital, I was able to see the hard work put forward both from the teachers and students.
The school is currently run by professional teachers, each individual an expert in their own field. The teachers are caring, patient, hard-working and know how to teach well. All of them were given opportunities to upgrade their musical understanding through knowledge exchange, workshops, and performances.
The school is also well equipped with a shop selling a wide range of instruments and books. Up to the present moment, I have really enjoyed my voice lessons and look forward to learning more in the near future. I would not hesitate to recommend Expression Music School to anyone with a desire to learn music to a high standard."

When I first came to this school, I was a shy and soft-spoken girl. Expression Music has trained me into becoming a confident performer after years of exposure in front of count-less audiences. I’ve always enjoyed music so much and I am so blessed to have 3 boys who enjoyed and loved music!
The teachers are wonderful and talented at Expression. They took my breath away every time I watched them played their pieces!
With the teacher’s encouragement, eventually I took up piano lesson and am fulfilling my childhood dreams!
Thanks to Expression Music School and the teachers for their support for making me, my family and our lives a cheerful one with the sound of music.
